Yoga sequence of the week – Breath and movement

Back to basics this week. The focus is on synchronizing breath and movement.

To paraphrase Sue Falsone: Respiration is subconscious. Breathing is conscious action.

Breathing is more difficult than respiration because it takes practice and commitment before it gets easy. This is why we might not do it when we know we should.

SS A = Sun Salutation A
1:1 breath = equal inhale and exhale. For example, 4 count inhale and 4 count exhale.
I = inhale E = exhale
D = dynamic movement
H = hold
