The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter, & Miracles by Dr. Bruce Lipton
I am not a huge fan of reading scientific books but Dr. Lipton uses simple language to make biology easier to understand. This book has changed by beliefs about genetics. It explains how our thoughts and environments can impact our cells. “Your perception of any given thing, at any given moment, can influence the brain chemistry, which, in turn, affects the environment where your cells reside and controls their fate. In other words, your thoughts and perceptions have a direct and overwhelmingly significant effect on cells.”
The All-Day Energy Diet by Yuri Elkaim
Yuri is quickly becoming one of my favourite go-to health and fitness gurus. He lives up to his motto: Making Fit and Healthy Simple Again So You Can Live a Great Life in a Body You Love.
This book is an easy read that will inspire you to make healthier food choices. Since reading the book I have been eating more vegetables and exercising smarter. There is also a cool at home test to see if your adrenals are depleted. All the recipes in the book are easy and quick to make and most of the ingredients easy to find. Some recipes I didn’t care for so I ate the same thing a few times rather than what was suggested in the meal plan.
The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy
I have bought at least a dozen copies of this book to give as gifts. I believe everyone can benefit from reading it. It will teach you how to think so that you don’t sabotage yourself. You will also learn how to use your thoughts to manifest your health and success for yourself and other. Some people who have read the book have shared with me the positive impact it has had on their lives. READ IT!!!
